Hello! My name is Amy and I am passionate about the arts, culture, history, music, and so much more! I love making connections with people and having meaningful discussions about current events, shared interests, and whatever else pops up. Beautiful aesthetics and harmonious environments are important to me and I strive to surround myself with both. Thank you for visiting my site and here is a little bit more about myself:
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, then moved to San Francisco to attend San Francisco State University after high school. I originally majored in Psychology, however after several highly enjoyable History classes decided to switch majors in order to pursue a subject I truly enjoyed. I love History for a multitude of reasons, but mostly because it encompasses so many different elements. It also allows for a person to develop a deep understanding of the world and an ability to see situations (political or otherwise) from an objective and informed point of view.
After several years at San Francisco State I decided to take a small break which ended up lasting several more years than originally intended (oops!). This ‘break’ allowed me to gain some real world experience and do a great deal of self discovery. However, upon realizing I could not move forward in life without finishing what I had started…I decided to return to school, this time to Portland State University, graduating with a Bachelors of Science in History in 2016.
While my formal education may be finished (for now) I am a passionate believer that we should all be life long learners and try to learn something new everyday.
I love to read; I stay up-to-date on current events; am learning various marketing techniques; and expanding my technical skills by learning new software programs (and how to create websites!).
Currently living in Los Angeles.
